The Fire Fighting and survival Center was Built in 2010 for practical training courses in these subjects.
The training center has a motor lifeboat, moored in the local Marina in old Akko. The Center holds basic and specialized courses as well as refresher courses in the areas of fire fighting and rescue in a special training facility built for this purpose. The facility enables stimulation of very close to real situations as well as training and practice in real fire.
The Dangerous Goods Center opened in 2012. It is a partnership of the Marine Education and Training Authority and Eco Safe company. The courses there train how to deal with leakage of hazardous substances such as ammonium and similar scenarios.
